My Home Delivery

What do I do if any of my products are damaged on delivery?

You can e-mail our customer service team on help@iceland.ie or you can phone us on 01 885 3868 and we will replace or refund the damaged items where possible.

What happens if I’m not at home when you deliver to me?

Our delivery driver will leave a card with the store’s telephone number. Your shopping will be taken back to the store.

We will do our best to try to arrange another delivery time for you once you have contacted us, however this may not always be possible.

If we are unable to arrange a suitable re-delivery, you may be asked to collect your shopping from the store.

Why wouldn’t the delivery driver bring my shopping inside?

We provide a ‘to your front door’ delivery service. If a customer needs any further support, our drivers will assist where possible, but they are not obliged to enter a customer’s premises.

Please see our Terms and Conditions for full details.

Will my food still be frozen on delivery?

Temperature controlled vans will deliver your shopping direct to your door in perfect condition, ensuring your frozen food stays frozen and your chilled food stays chilled. Your grocery items will be safely stored and delivered with the rest of your shopping.

Why does my delivery have to come in carrier bags?

We do not currently offer a ‘bagless’ delivery service, however we welcome re-use of carrier bags in our stores. All we ask is that any carrier bags you wish to re-use are in a suitable condition for holding shopping safely.

Who can sign for my delivery?

All deliveries must be signed for by the customer, or a person nominated by the customer, who is over 18.

If the order contains alcohol, proof of age may be requested. Iceland reserves the right to ask to see ID of anyone who looks under the age of 25 and can refuse delivery to anybody that cannot prove they are over 18 years of age.

Do I need a bonus card to get a delivery?

The Home Delivery Service is only available to Bonus Card holders. However, if it is your first home delivery the store will ask for your delivery details and ask you to register a Bonus Card for your next shop.

Where do you deliver to?

Home delivery is available within a 10km radius of the shop.

What is Home Delivery?

Spend €30 or more in store and we will deliver your shopping to you in one of our temperature controlled vehicles, during your chosen time slot.

My Bonus Card

I’ve lost my bonus card, what should I do?

If you have lost your Bonus Card or if you have had it stolen, you will need to call our dedicated Bonus Card Team as soon as possible so we can disable your card. 01 885 3868 or e-mail bonuscard@iceland.ie

We will send you a new card and key fob within 28 days, just call us to activate your new card and fob when you receive them.

Don’t worry, any savings you have on that card at the time it is reported lost will be automatically transferred onto your new Bonus Card.

How can I get a Bonus Card?

Anyone over the age of 18, who lives in the Republic of Ireland, can have a Bonus Card. Simply pick up a card next time you’re in store and register your details at the till, we’ll take it from there.

How can I check my Bonus Card Balance?

When you swipe your Bonus Card in any of our stores your receipt will show your Bonus Card balance.

How do I register my Bonus Card?

Complete your Bonus Card registration form at the till and our team will take it from there.

Why hasn’t my €1 bonus loaded onto my Bonus Card?

If you believe you have hit a €30 milestone but the €1 bonus hasn’t loaded onto the Bonus Card, this may be for one of the following reasons:

  • Money that Iceland has loaded onto your Bonus Card, including the €1 bonuses and any promotional rewards, do not count towards your total savings on the Bonus Card. You will only receive a €1 bonus for every €30 that you yourself save onto the card.
  • If for some reason you have more than one Bonus Card registered to your account (these Bonus Cards having different numbers) the balances on the different cards do not tally together to hit the €1 bonus. You must load €30 onto one of your Bonus Cards to hit your €1 bonus.
  • You will receive a €1 bonus each time an aggregate of €30 of Savings is added to your Savings balance. This does not take into account any savings you redeem. Once you have qualified for a €1 bonus, you will need to save another €30 onto your Bonus Card before you qualify for another €1 bonus.

How do I update my Bonus Card Personal Details?

To change your personal details, you will need to email or Bonus Card team on bonuscard@iceland.ie or call us on 01 885 3868.

How do I add savings to my bonus card?

In-store - Simply tell the cashier in our stores how much you would like to save and we’ll load it directly onto your Bonus Card.

Please note: Savings can take up to 48 hours to appear on your account.

I’ve forgotten to use my bonus card in-store; can this swipe be added on?

Unfortunately, we are unable to add any swipes on to your Bonus Card after you have visited the store.

What is the Bonus Card?

The Bonus Card is Iceland’s loyalty card. There are various benefits to regularly swiping your Bonus Card, including:

  • Free in-store Home Delivery when you spend over €30*
  • Save money onto your Bonus Card and we’ll add a €1 bonus for every €30 you save.
  • Get exclusive offers and promotions only for Bonus Card holders.

*Participating stores only

When does the €1 bonus get added to my card?

Charity

Iceland, as I am sure you can imagine, receives a lot of requests asking for support with various projects. Unfortunately, we cannot help them all.

Each year we fund-raise for our Charity of the Year, as selected by our Executive Directors. This year our focus will be on helping to find a cure for dementia. Iceland will be supporting The Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

We also support other charities and worthy causes, however, we do not have any flexible funds available at this time. This is why, unfortunately, we cannot help you on this occasion.
